President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met with Rudy Giuliani, a prominent Republican politician and former mayor of New York, during his visit to the United States, where he is expected to attend the Republican Convention in Florida.
The meeting was made public through Vučić’s Instagram post early this morning (European time), where he described Giuliani as “an old friend.”
“Excellent conversation with old friend Rudy Giuliani. Rudy was the first to support the Belgrade Waterfront project, and today we discussed strengthening ties between Serbia and the United States,” Vučić wrote.
Giuliani has been a long-time supporter of Vučić and maintains visibility within Serbian public discourse for his earlier endorsements of strategic Serbian projects.
This meeting comes as Serbia continues efforts to deepen international relationships, especially with influential figures within the Republican Party amid a shifting global geopolitical landscape.
