“When We Entered the Serbian Village, We Were Attacked” – Goddard Explains How the Serbs Were Angry with Him

Journalist Wade Goddard recounted the story of when journalists were attacked by Serbs.

He added that the Serbs at that time were angry with him and had attacked his car while he was driving.

“I remember a Serbian official, but I don’t recall his exact position during the year 1998.

He was very angry because we were reporting on Albanian villages and not the Serbian ones. He forced us to go to a Serbian village, and when we arrived at that Serbian village, we were attacked. We stayed in our armored cars; I don’t know why we were attacked. I remember being in an armored Land Rover, and there was a guy with a gun trying to break the window while I was driving. Many other cars were also shot at,” he said.
