Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in the United States, where he is expected to hold meetings with US President Donald Trump and other officials from the American administration.
During his visit, Zelensky said that the main priority will be strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities, particularly against ballistic missiles, as well as expanding strategic cooperation between Kyiv and Washington.
In a statement, the Ukrainian president emphasized that the goal of the meetings is to advance efforts toward peace and secure further support for Ukraine’s defense.
As part of his visit to Washington, Zelensky is also expected to attend a memorial ceremony honoring Senator Lindsey Graham, recognizing his contribution to transatlantic security.
The meetings between the leaders are expected to focus on military assistance, strategic cooperation, and the latest developments related to the war in Ukraine.
