President Vjosa Osmani has commemorated the Rezalla massacre on its 26th anniversary, emphasizing that they will not stop seeking justice, reports Rks News.

Osmani stated that, in a barbaric act, 98 men and boys from Rezalla and surrounding villages were executed, while the bodies of 44 victims were disappeared in order to cover up the traces of the genocide.

She added that some of these bodies were later found in mass graves in Rudnice, Rashke, Serbia.

“The Rezalla massacre was part of a systematic plan by the Serbian state for the extermination of Albanians, through forcible expulsion from their land, persecution, mass killings, rapes, burnings, and destruction. We will not stop seeking justice, just as we will never cease to remember and honor them. Glory forever to the martyrs of Rezalla!” she added.
