The defense phase in the trial proceedings at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague continues today, with closing arguments expected to be presented on behalf of former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) commander Rexhep Selimi.

Earlier in the session, Kadri Veseli’s defense attorney, Rodney Dixon, delivered closing arguments lasting approximately three and a half hours, presenting the final defense position for the former Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly.

Following the completion of Veseli’s defense presentation, the court proceedings will now shift focus to the defense team representing Rexhep Selimi.

According to the schedule, the hearing is expected to resume at 14:30, where Selimi’s legal team will present their final arguments before the court.

The ongoing trial remains one of the most significant legal processes related to former KLA leadership, closely followed both domestically and internationally.
