Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu has declared the Kosovo Assembly constituted, despite the failure to elect a deputy speaker from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).
“With this, I declare that the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is considered constituted, and I will see you at the next session,” she said after Emilia Rexhepi was elected deputy speaker representing the non-Serb minority communities.
Earlier, Kujtim Shala of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and Tanja Vujević of the Serb List were elected as deputy speakers of the Assembly.
