Four Serbian nationals were arrested in two separate incidents in the Gjilan region on suspicion of illegal border crossing.
According to the Kosovo Police, the first case was recorded on February 14, 2026, around 10:40 AM in the village of Pogragjë, Gjilan. A police unit stopped a vehicle carrying two suspects, who are believed to have entered Kosovo through illegal routes. Following interrogation and the prosecutor’s decision, both suspects were arrested and taken into custody.
The second case occurred on the same day, February 14, 2026, around 1:00 PM, in the village of Stublinë, Gjilan. Police stopped another vehicle with two male suspects, also Serbian citizens, suspected of illegally entering Kosovo. After consulting the prosecutor, the case was initiated and the suspects were taken into custody.
Police have temporarily confiscated the suspects’ vehicles and mobile phones, and investigations into these cases are ongoing.
