A court hearing is scheduled to take place today at the Basic Court of Prishtina regarding the armed attack that occurred in Banjska.

Blagoje Spasojeviq, Vladimir Toliq, and Dushan Maksimoviq are expected to face serious charges linked to the events of September 24, 2023, when an armed group attacked the Kosovo Police. The assault resulted in the killing of police sergeant Afrim Bunjaku and the injury of several other officers, marking one of the most severe security incidents in Kosovo in recent years.

Authorities have described the attack as a significant threat to national security and stability, while investigations have focused on identifying those responsible for organizing and carrying out the operation.

The court session is scheduled to begin at 09:30 local time, with the proceedings expected to draw considerable public and institutional attention due to the gravity of the charges and the broader security implications.
