Pristina has joined efforts led by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kosovo to raise public awareness about the importance of energy saving and investing in better home heating conditions.
According to published data, around 70% of households in Prishtina are dissatisfied with their home heating systems, highlighting a pressing need for improvements in energy efficiency and heating infrastructure.
In a statement, the Municipality of Prishtina emphasized the importance of collective action:
“When we all invest in energy efficiency in our homes, we directly contribute to building a more sustainable urban environment and improving our quality of life.”
The municipality called on citizens to engage in joint and cooperative efforts to build a more productive and greener future.
The findings underline ongoing challenges related to heating performance, energy costs, and infrastructure in Kosovo’s capital, especially during the winter season.
