OVL-UÇK Forms Organizing Council for Commemorative and Ceremonial Activities

The Organization of Kosovo Liberation Army Veterans (OVL-UÇK) has officially established an Organizing Council to coordinate commemorative and ceremonial activities.

The council will oversee the planning and execution of events honoring the legacy and sacrifices of the UÇK. Its formation reflects the commitment of the veteran community to preserve historical memory and strengthen national unity.

Council Composition

The OVL-UÇK announced the initial members of the Organizing Council, which includes prominent figures from Kosovo and regional veteran structures:

  • Hysni Gucati – OVL-UÇK
  • Fadil Shurdhaj – SHIL-UÇK
  • Xhavit Jashari – SHFD-UÇK
  • Ali Ahmeti – National Liberation Army
  • Shefket Musliu – UÇ Preshevë, Medvegjë, Bujanoc
  • Sokol Poga – OVL-UÇK, Tirana
  • Agim Çeku
  • Lahi Brahimaj
  • Shukri Buja
  • Ahmet Isufi
  • Rahman Rama
  • Nuredin Lushtaku
  • Abdyl Mushkolaj
  • Latif Gashi
  • Rustem Berisha

The organization stated that in the coming days, the council will be expanded to include additional members delegated by the respective structures of OVL-UÇK and affiliated veteran groups.

This council is expected to strengthen coordination, ensure proper representation of veterans, and maintain the integrity of commemorative ceremonies across Kosovo and the Albanian-speaking regions.
