The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade of Kosovo, Mimoza Kusari Lila, met with the Austrian Ambassador to Kosovo, Georg Schnetzer, to discuss economic development and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Kosovo and Austria.

Following the meeting, Kusari Lila noted that this was the ambassador’s first official visit during her current mandate as minister. She said the discussions focused on opportunities for further economic growth, expanding bilateral cooperation, and ongoing projects supported by Austria in Kosovo.

The minister highlighted that Austria remains one of Kosovo’s important economic partners, particularly in trade exchanges and cooperation within the private sector.

According to Kusari Lila, there are numerous opportunities to deepen collaboration in the private sector, given the strong economic ties between the two countries.

She also stressed that the green transition and the move toward a sustainable economy remain key priorities for the ministry she leads. Kusari Lila added that continued cooperation with Austria is viewed as long-term and strategically important for Kosovo’s economic development.
