The first meeting of the Organizing Council for the 28th anniversary commemoration of the Epopee of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) has been held.
The session was co-chaired by Kosovo’s Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, and the Minister for Labor, Family and War Veterans’ Values, Andin Hoti, alongside council members and representatives from the Office of the President, the Assembly of Kosovo, the Office of the Prime Minister, and the Association of Kosovo Municipalities, the Ministry of Defense announced.
Organizations emerging from the war did not attend the meeting, having previously expressed dissatisfaction with the Government’s approach.
According to the official statement, the meeting included extensive discussions on the three-day program of activities, as well as the division of tasks and responsibilities among relevant institutions to organize what was described as an event of special national importance.
Following consultations, the Organizing Council approved the official agenda for March 5, 6, and 7, along with the official logo of the commemoration.
Responsible institutions are expected to continue close coordination in the coming days to ensure the successful implementation of all planned activities.
