Serbian President Aleksandar Vuçiq met today in Belgrade with EU Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Peter Sorensen.
In an Instagram post, Vuçiq stated that their discussion focused on the Dialogue process and the EU’s more active involvement.
However, Vuçiq also raised concerns about the military alliance between Kosovo, Albania, and Croatia, claiming that such cooperation “will increase tensions and threaten the security of the Serbian people.”
Additionally, he mentioned Kosovo’s upcoming new laws for foreigners, set to take effect on March 15, and discussed the Association of Serb-Majority Municipalities, emphasizing that concrete steps are needed for its establishment.
Vuçiq concluded by stating that it is in the interest of all parties to avoid actions that could escalate the situation.
