Spiropali Continues Meetings with Kosovo Leaders, Scheduled to Meet Haxhiu

Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, was welcomed in a meeting by Kosovo’s Assembly Speaker, Albulena Haxhiu.

Earlier, she met with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, as well as President Vjosa Osmani.

Next, Spiropali is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

She will also hold meetings with the leaders of Kosovo’s main parliamentary parties: Bedri Hamza (PDK), Lumir Abdixhiku (LDK), and Ramush Haradinaj (AAK).

The discussions will focus on:

  • Deepening bilateral cooperation between Albania and Kosovo
  • Reactivating institutional cooperation mechanisms
  • Preparations for the joint government-to-government meeting (G2G)
  • Implementation of previously signed agreements

The meetings will also address expanding economic cooperation, including major national projects such as the Durrës–Prishtina railway, infrastructure and energy projects, coordination on support for Albanians in the region, and cooperation with the diaspora.

During her visit, Spiropali will emphasize Albania’s support for strengthening Kosovo’s international standing, advancing new recognitions, Kosovo’s membership in regional and international organizations, and its Euro-Atlantic integration.
