Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci has announced an inter-ministerial meeting with the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila.
Maqedonci stated that the meeting “marked a key step toward the Draft Law on the Defense Industry.”
“Together with Minister Kusari, we discussed the concept, structure, and mechanisms that will transform our defense industry,” Maqedonci wrote.
According to him, “this law is expected to pave the way for sustainable and cross-sectoral development, making the defense industry a driver of innovation and national security.”
“In the coming days, the working group will finalize the concept document and draft the bill, taking the next step toward launching the development of the defense industry,” he added.
