The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Abu Dhabi has announced that it is in continuous communication with the authorities of the United Arab Emirates and institutions in Kosovo to assess the possibility of evacuating Kosovar citizens, should the airspace blockade continue.
The embassy has called on all Kosovo citizens currently in the UAE both stranded visitors and residents to contact the diplomatic mission if they have not already done so.
“The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Abu Dhabi informs all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo — stranded visitors and residents — that it is in continuous communication with the host country’s authorities, with state institutions in Kosovo, as well as with our Embassy in Riyadh, to examine the fastest and safest possible option in case of evacuation of our citizens,” the embassy stated in a Facebook announcement.
