Montenegrin portal Vijesti reports that the Serbian Embassy in Lisbon is suspected of being used in 2020 as a storage location for cocaine by a criminal group led by former Milo Božović, a member of Demokratski Front.

The allegations are based on encrypted messages exchanged via the Sky app between Božović and Ivan Mijatović, which reportedly reference a shipment of over 100 kilograms of cocaine. Some messages allegedly mention the Serbian ambassador in Lisbon, suggesting the embassy could serve as a “safe location” for the drugs.

The state prosecutor’s indictment confirms a cocaine shipment but does not explicitly name the embassy as the hiding place, only referring to a “secure location.”

At the time, Oliver Antić was serving as Serbia’s ambassador to Portugal. He died in 2022 after falling from a cliff near Cascais, Lisbon.

Neither the Ministry of Interior of Serbia nor the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia has publicly responded to inquiries regarding these allegations.
