The Kosovo Police has addressed public concerns, clarifying that recent images circulating about the “Enver Zymeri” camp do not reflect the camp’s actual condition.
According to the police, the camp fully meets all requirements for conducting police operations, including officer accommodations, training activities, and logistical support.
The camp’s conditions have significantly improved due to ongoing investments. Over the past years, 12 major investment projects have been completed at the camp, with additional projects currently underway.
The images published by media outlets show non-functional or decommissioned areas that have been replaced with new facilities, spaces, and locations. The police emphasize that such publications misrepresent reality and constitute an irresponsible attack on the Kosovo Police, particularly because the camp hosts sensitive operations and information that cannot be disclosed publicly.
The Kosovo Police urges citizens not to fall for such misinformation.
The police maintain a continuous focus on improving facilities and operational conditions for all personnel, with special attention given to special operational units.
Furthermore, the Kosovo Police remains committed to transparency and accurate public information, urging media outlets and citizens to rely on official and verified sources before sharing security-related content. The Kosovo Police will continue to perform its duties professionally and in accordance with its constitutional and legal mandate.
