Prindon Sadriu represented Kosovo at the inaugural summit of the global coalition “Fostering the Future Together,” held at the White House, upon invitation from Melania Trump.

The event brought together representatives from 45 countries, with Kosovo being one of only eight selected to deliver a keynote address. In his speech, Sadriu thanked the United States for its decisive support for Kosovo and highlighted the country’s commitment to empowering children and youth through education, innovation, and technology—placing their protection at the center of digital development.

Kosovo officially joined the global coalition in December 2025, following an initiative by Vjosa Osmani, together with the First Gentleman.

The two-day summit began with meetings at the U.S. Department of State, where Sadriu met with senior U.S. officials, including Christopher Landau. He also held discussions with representatives from leading technology companies such as OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, Meta, xAI, Palantir Technologies, Adobe, and Zoom Communications.

Discussions focused on how Kosovo can leverage these platforms and services to support education and the well-being of children and youth.

Kosovo’s participation in this summit reflects growing international recognition and reaffirms its commitment—alongside President Osmani—to creating real digital and educational opportunities for the younger generation. The moment is seen as a significant milestone, positioning Kosovo as a reliable and active partner in global initiatives shaping the future of children.
