Kosova has become part of the 30 allied nations supporting the international coalition to secure the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical sea routes for oil transport.

The matter was discussed on FOX Business’s “Morning with Maria”, highlighting that the coalition aims to ensure smooth passage for commercial vessels and maintain oil flow.

President Donald Trump has prioritized keeping this critical oil corridor open and is reportedly considering deploying the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East to support U.S. Marines. Their mission could include assisting the waterway’s operation or direct intervention if necessary.

Boris Pistorius emphasized the need for predictability, clarity, and long-term strategic vision in such operations.

The conflict in Iran, now in its fourth week, has already caused major disruptions, including rising oil prices and challenges to the global economy. The U.S. and Israel launched a large-scale military operation on February 28, while Iran has retaliated with attacks on Israeli targets and U.S. bases in the region.
