The Kosovo Customs has reported a highly successful month, highlighting steady revenue growth and progress in trade facilitation reforms.
According to the official statement, total revenues reached €431 million, marking a 4.5% increase compared to the previous year, while March alone recorded a 12.7% growth.
The institution emphasized that the pre-arrival clearance system is transforming customs procedures by reducing waiting times and lowering costs for businesses.
As part of efforts to combat the informal economy, customs authorities uncovered suspected smuggled goods worth around €800,000 in the Pristina region.
On the international stage, Kosovo Customs ranked among the top 10 most successful participants in Operation STOP IV, placing 7th out of 119 countries.
