At Thursday’s United Nations Security Council meeting on Kosovo in New York, the United Kingdom called for the election of Kosovo’s President in accordance with the Constitution.
Jennifer MacNaughtan, the British diplomat at the meeting, stated:
“We encourage swift progress toward the election of a President, in line with Kosovo’s Constitution.”
She also emphasized that the UK continues “to call on both Kosovo and Serbia to resolve outstanding disputes through the EU-facilitated Dialogue.”
