Prime Minister Edi Rama today at the Diaspora Summit in Albania brought together various Albanian political figures from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
Among those present were Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca, Ali Ahmeti, Afrim Gashi, and Dritan Abazović, whom Rama described as “unique.”
He stated:
“Wherever Albanians live around the borders of Albania, starting from the other independent Albanian state, Kosovo, and continuing with the Albanians in North Macedonia, who will never be forgotten as a state-forming people of the friendly neighboring republic of North Macedonia, and also continuing with Albanians in Montenegro and elsewhere. On this occasion, I would like to thank the presence of Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca, the Speaker of the Parliament of North Macedonia Afrim Gashi, my old and irreplaceable friend Ali Ahmeti, and without question my undisputed and unique friend Dritan Abazović.”
