The EU Special Envoy for Dialogue, Peter Sørensen, is expected to arrive in Pristina today, according to sources from Gazeta Express within the EU, Gazeta Express reports.

Prior to his visit to Pristina, Sørensen also visited Belgrade, where he met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Serbia’s chief negotiator Petar Petković.

During his meeting with Vučić six days ago, Sørensen discussed progress on key issues within the Dialogue, including developments related to the implementation of the Law on Foreigners.

“We agreed on the need to remain engaged and to work together for concrete benefits for everyone,” Sørensen wrote after his meeting with Vučić.

The EU Special Envoy for Dialogue last visited Pristina on 14 March, when an agreement was reached on the modified implementation of the Law on Foreigners.

After meeting Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Sørensen stated that both sides had agreed on additional measures regarding the implementation of the Law on Foreigners and the Law on Vehicles, including granting a 12-month initial residence permit for Serbian teachers, healthcare workers, and students in Kosovo.
