Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has announced that she has decreed the Law on the Ratification of the Agreement for Kosovo’s membership in the Peace Board.

In addition to this law, Haxhiu said she also decreed the law related to the Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030, as well as laws concerning financial agreements with the European Union and the French Development Agency.

“I have decreed the promulgation of a series of important laws for citizens and for the Republic. Some of them are directly related to everyday life, including social and affordable housing, healthcare, citizenship, payment services, water resources, and the state graduation exam. I have also decreed the law on the ratification of the agreement for the Republic of Kosovo’s membership in the Peace Board, the law on the Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030, as well as laws related to financial agreements with the European Union and the French Development Agency. Laws gain meaning when they are transformed into service for citizens and into strengthening the Republic,” Haxhiu wrote.

The Assembly of Kosovo ratified the draft law on Kosovo’s membership in the Peace Board on 24 April.

The agreement was approved with 103 votes in favor, none against, and no abstentions.
