Albanian National Olympic Committee and Olympic Committee of Kosovo have intensified coordination efforts for the organization of the Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030 during a high-level working meeting hosted by KOKSH President Fidel Ylli.
The meeting was attended by Julian Pace Bonello, Iakovos Filippousis, as well as r Ismet KrasniqiOlympic Committee of Kosovo, including President .
The discussions focused on inspections and coordination for preparations related to the Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030, an event considered historic for sports in Kosovo and the wider region. As part of the organization, Durrës will play a key role as the supporting city for all water sports competitions.
During the meeting, Fidel Ylli presented the recent achievements of Albanian sports, highlighting investments in sports infrastructure, organization, and international cooperation. Meanwhile, Julian Pace Bonello praised the hospitality and progress of Albanian sports.
He said that Ismet Krasniqisaid Fidel Ylli for his continued support for Kosovo, emphasizing that Kosovo–Albania cooperation remains essential for the success of the Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030.
