Maritime tracking data and Iranian state media have reported that between 20 and 30 commercial vessels and oil tankers successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz within the past 24 hours.

Vessel movements are taking place under strict conditions, requiring prior authorization. Ships must obtain clearance and coordinate their passage with the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Although a notable number of vessels have continued to pass through the strategic waterway, traffic remains significantly lower than before the conflict, when more than 130 ships per day regularly transited the strait.

The area remains heavily militarized. Reports indicate that vessels attempting to pass without coordination with Iranian authorities have been intercepted or ordered to turn back.

Meanwhile, the United States has imposed a blockade on Iranian ports and sanctioned the newly established Iranian authority overseeing the strait, which seeks to collect transit fees from vessels using this vital maritime route.
