Costa stated that full implementation of the Ohrid Agreement must be ensured.
“Promoting good neighbourly relations and regional cooperation is also a key priority to guarantee security and economic prosperity in the region. The Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue is crucial in this regard. Let me be clear: normalisation is essential for the European future of both Kosovo and Serbia. Recently, there has been significant progress. We must build on it and ensure full implementation of the Ohrid Agreement,” he said.
The senior EU official added that the European Union believes that “Kosovo’s future lies in the European Union.”
“As Kosovo heads into elections this weekend, my message to all political leaders I met today is simple: partnership comes with responsibility,” he added.
