A technical failure in the entry/exit registration system in North Macedonia has caused long queues at the Hani i Elezit–Blace border crossing, according to reports.

The National Centre for Border Management (QKMK) said the registration system in North Macedonia has gone down, resulting in the implementation of double checks at the border.

As a result, significant delays and long lines of vehicles have formed at the crossing point between Kosovo and North Macedonia.

Authorities have not yet announced when the system will be fully restored, while border traffic continues under increased control measures.
