The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, hosted a meeting with Germany’s Deputy Ambassador to Kosovo, Christian Böttcher, and Tilmann Scherf from the German Federal Foreign Office.
According to the KSF, during the meeting General Jashari expressed gratitude for Germany’s continued support to Kosovo, particularly its contribution to the establishment and development of the Kosovo Security Force since its formation.
The discussions focused on current developments within the KSF, its priorities and needs, as well as future planning processes. The parties also exchanged views on the current security situation and the importance of cooperation in addressing shared challenges.
At the conclusion of the meeting, General Jashari once again thanked the German delegation for its ongoing support in strengthening the capacities of the KSF.
Both sides agreed on the importance of further deepening cooperation and strengthening bilateral military relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany.
