Kosovo and Montenegro are set to sign an agreement on the mutual recognition of electronic identification (eID) and trusted digital services, aiming to facilitate access to digital public services between the two countries.
The agreement will be signed by Kosovo’s Acting Minister of Digitalization and Public Administration, Lulëzon Jagxhiu, and Montenegro’s Minister of Public Administration, Marash Dukaj.
Following the signing ceremony, the two ministers are expected to hold a joint press conference to outline the significance of the agreement and its expected benefits for citizens, businesses, and institutional cooperation between Kosovo and Montenegro.
The agreement is intended to strengthen cross-border digital cooperation, improve interoperability between public administrations, and simplify access to electronic services by enabling the mutual recognition of trusted digital identities.
The signing ceremony will take place at the former Rilindja building in Pristina, on the 18th floor in the Meeting Hall, beginning at 2:00 PM.
