The War Veterans Organization of the Kosovo Liberation Army (OVL-KLA) has commemorated the fallen martyrs of July, describing the month as one of the bloodiest periods of Kosovo’s liberation war.
“July remains one of the bloodiest months of our liberation war. The martyrs who fell during July in our liberation struggle became the foundation of our freedom, proving that the homeland is defended only through courage, dedication, and sacrifice,” OVL-KLA wrote in a Facebook post.
The organization listed the names of dozens of martyrs who fell during July, stating that their sacrifice remains a legacy for future generations and a guiding light for Kosovo’s future.
“With the deepest respect, we bow before their immortal deeds and remember each one of them with pride,” the organization stated, honoring the fallen fighters.
At the end of the message, OVL-KLA emphasized: “Their sacrifice is a legacy for generations and a guiding light for the future. Eternal glory to the martyrs of the nation — they will never be forgotten.”
