Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has invited the leaders of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) to a consultative meeting to discuss the current political situation and the importance of reaching an agreement on a consensual candidate for President.
In her letter, Haxhiu said the meeting will also address the formation of other constitutional institutions.
“In my capacity as Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, I invite you to a consultative meeting regarding current political and institutional developments and the importance of reaching an agreement on a consensual President, and consequently, the formation of other constitutional institutions,” Haxhiu stated.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, at 9:00 a.m. at the President’s Office.
Haxhiu has asked the party leaders to confirm their participation or designate representatives from their respective political parties.
