Kosovo’s Ministry of Defense has cancelled a procurement procedure for providing various medical services to cadets of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF).
The services were initially planned to be provided through a 36-month public framework contract, with an estimated value of €27,000.
The medical examinations were to be conducted at the “Adem Jashari” Barracks in Pristina, with the contract intended to support the operational readiness and efficiency of the KSF in carrying out its mission.
The tender documents included specific requirements for the economic operator. Medical facilities were required to be located within 20 kilometers of the barracks, while the provider had to have the capacity to conduct systematic examinations for at least 20 KSF personnel per day.
Bidders were also required to demonstrate sufficient professional and financial capacity.
However, the procurement process did not result in the awarding of a contract. According to the cancellation notice published by the procurement authorities, only one bid was submitted, and the procedure was cancelled under the relevant provisions of Kosovo’s Public Procurement Law because the submitted offer was deemed non-responsive.
