The leader of the Serbian Progressive Party, Miloš Vučević, has issued strong accusations against the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo following the arrest of nine individuals in Zubin Potok who are suspected of war crimes against the civilian population, specifically in connection with the “Group of Intellectuals” case.
The arrests were carried out this morning (Sunday) during an operation by the Kosovo Police, acting on the orders of the Special Prosecution Office. According to the Prosecution’s statement, the operation was conducted as part of an investigation into war crimes.

Vučević described the arrests as “terror” against Serbs and accused Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti of attempting to create fear among the Serbian population.
“Today’s morning raid by armed police units on Serbian homes in Zubin Potok, on the major Easter holiday, is a continuation of the shameful policy of ethnic cleansing and the open persecution of everything Serbian in Kosovo and Metohija,” Vučević said.
He claimed that the war crimes allegations were fabricated and that the arrests were intended to divert attention from the verdict against former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) leaders.
“We are telling Pristina and the international community that no one will intimidate the Serbian people, and that we will not stand by silently while Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are subjected to retaliation and systematic persecution,” Vučević said, adding that legal assistance would be provided to those arrested.
“The Serbian Progressive Party and the state of Serbia stand firmly with the families of those arrested,” he said, reiterating that legal assistance would be provided to the detainees.
