Kosovo Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu and North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski discussed infrastructure projects linking the two countries, including the Prizren–Tetovo road and the Skopje–Blace motorway, as well as energy interconnection.
According to a statement from the Kosovo Assembly’s media office, the projects were a key focus of the meeting between Haxhiu and Mickoski in Skopje, which centred on strengthening cooperation between Kosovo and North Macedonia and advancing joint initiatives in the interest of citizens.
Particular attention was given to the Prizren–Tetovo road connection, the Skopje–Blace motorway and energy interconnection.
Haxhiu said both countries had a shared interest in completing the projects as soon as possible, turning commitments into concrete results.
“These projects matter beyond infrastructure. They make it easier for people and goods to move, while also demonstrating that Kosovo and North Macedonia cooperate as two good neighbours. The Kosovo Assembly will support these projects and closely monitor their progress until completion,” Haxhiu said.
