Kosovo’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, has highlighted the role of the Kosovo diaspora in Germany in encouraging investment and strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
Konjufca spoke at the third German-Kosovo Economic Forum in Prishtina, where he participated in a panel dedicated to the diaspora’s contribution to developing economic relations between Kosovo and Germany.
He expressed gratitude for Germany’s longstanding support for Kosovo’s freedom, independence and state-building, emphasizing the friendship between the two peoples and the strong ties established through the diaspora.
According to a statement from Kosovo’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Konjufca also praised the diaspora’s contribution to strengthening Kosovo’s international standing and building professional and business networks with Germany.
He said the ministry’s economic diplomacy aims to turn these connections into concrete opportunities for Kosovo by encouraging partnerships between businesses and facilitating communication with Kosovo’s institutions.
Kosovo’s embassy and consulates in Germany will continue working with business associations and diaspora professionals to support the country’s economic development and European integration prospects.
