Jugoslav Gašić, a parliamentary candidate for Serbia’s Students’ List, has ruled out any cooperation with the Serb List, accusing the Kosovo-based party of operating as an extension of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).
In an interview with Radio Kim, Gašić described the Serb List as an organization that had served the interests of the SNS in Kosovo and criticized its political record.
“The Serb List has been an SNS contractor in the territory of Kosovo, with absolutely catastrophic results. We do not want any contact or any form of cooperation with them,” Gašić said.
Commenting on the election results, he said they represented a serious political setback for the Serb List, arguing that its representatives were now more concerned about their own political future than the party’s continued functioning.
Gašić also accused the Serb List of using pressure and blackmail for years to secure voter support.
“They lost their sense of reality and thought they would certainly win this way,” he said.
His remarks signal a clear rejection of political cooperation between the Students’ List and the Serb List, amid changes in Serbia’s political landscape following the recent elections.
