The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, currently visiting Washington, met with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, on the sidelines of the NATO summit.
In a statement released to the media, the Presidency of Kosovo disclosed the topics discussed by the two Albanian leaders, reports Bota sot.
“In the meeting, the two leaders discussed the importance of advancing Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic path, particularly the necessary steps toward NATO membership, an alliance vital for security and peace in our region and beyond.
President Osmani emphasized that this meeting serves to coordinate our positions and joint efforts so that Kosovo can join Albania and other allied countries as a full member of NATO as soon as possible, where it rightfully belongs,” said the statement from the Presidency of Kosovo.
