Former U.S. President Donald Trump will meet Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban this Thursday at his Florida residence, reports Reuters.

The full agenda of their meeting is unknown, but according to Reuters sources, the conflict in Ukraine will be among the topics of discussion.

Orban, a staunch supporter of Trump, made surprise visits to Kyiv, Moscow, and Beijing, presenting them as “peace missions.”

His meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow has particularly angered some NATO allies, who said his visit legitimized Putin’s claims over Ukrainian territory seized since Russia began its invasion in 2022.

Orban is currently in Washington, where he participated in this week’s NATO summit.

News of the meeting between Orban and Trump was initially reported by Bloomberg.

In recent months, foreign officials have continuously sought meetings with Trump and his top advisors in efforts to discuss his foreign policy, should he defeat Democratic President Joe Biden in the November 5 elections.

Polls show Trump has a wide lead over Biden.

One of his advisors, Keith Kellogg, met with several senior foreign officials on the sidelines of the NATO summit, Reuters reported this week.

Orban last met with Trump in early March. Following that meeting, the nationalist prime minister offered his support to Trump in the presidential race.
