The Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti, met with the judoka Distria Krasniqi, after she won the Silver medal at the “Paris 2024” Olympic Games.
Kurti said that “we witnessed history”, while Distria made history, where she became a double Olympic medalist.
“In Tokyo 2020 he won the gold in the category up to 46 Kg, and now in Paris 2024 he won the silver in the category up to 52 Kg. She has an eagle-like attitude and gaze of Bjeshke i Rugova. During the match, Distria is so powerful, fast and focused that it seems as if either it or the opponent has mistaken the category”, Kurti wrote.
Further, he thanked the District for the service it is doing to the state and for the joy and pride it is giving to the citizens of the country.
