The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, during an official visit to Latvia, met with Latvian Minister Inese Libina Egnere to discuss Kosovo’s integration process into the EU, the digitalization of the system in Kosovo, and cooperation in specialized training for the judiciary and other staff.
In a post on Facebook, Minister Haxhiu highlighted the strong partnership between Kosovo and Latvia.
“During this meeting, I thanked Latvia for the support it has provided to Kosovo in many important processes for the country, including the integration process, membership in international organizations, and visa liberalization and the Council of Europe. We discussed in detail the work we are doing and the support we need in terms of the digitalization of the system in Kosovo, the use of judicial data in policymaking, and collaboration in specialized training for the judiciary and other staff,” wrote Haxhiu.
