The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, today held a meeting with Jessica Blitt, the Canadian Ambassador to Zagreb, who is also accredited to the Republic of Kosovo . In a Facebook post, Maqedonci informed that he updated Ambassador Blitt on developments within the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), while also expressing gratitude for Canada’s support in the defense sector.
He further stated that they discussed the participation of the Ministry of Defense and Kosovo Security Force delegation at the Halifax International Security Forum.
“I had the pleasure today of hosting the Canadian Ambassador to Zagreb, Mrs. Jessica Blitt, at the Ministry of Defense, who is also accredited to the Republic of Kosovo. I briefed Mrs. Blitt on the developments within the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force and thanked her for the cooperation between our countries in the field of defense,” said Maqedonci.
“We also discussed the participation of the Ministry of Defense and Kosovo Security Force delegation at the Halifax International Security Forum. The Republic of Kosovo remains steadfast in its path toward NATO integration, and Canada is among the countries that the Republic of Kosovo relies on for their support in realizing this aspiration,” Maqedonci concluded.
