Bogotá, Colombia – Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani was warmly welcomed with high military honors at the Presidential Palace in Bogotá by Colombian President Gustavo Petro during her first official visit to the country.
In a post on Facebook, President Osmani expressed her appreciation for the warm reception, highlighting the special respect and goodwill shown by Colombia towards Kosovo. She wrote, “Colombia showed a special respect and goodwill towards Kosovo during my visit.”
During their meeting, President Osmani and President Petro discussed opportunities for collaboration in several areas, including security, tourism, economy, and culture. They also focused on ways to further strengthen Kosovo’s position in the international arena.
“Endlessly grateful for Colombia’s support for Kosovo!” Osmani added.
