The revolutionary satellite internet service, Starlink, developed by SpaceX and Elon Musk, is now available in Kosovo, marking a significant milestone in the country’s digital infrastructure.

Starlink announced the launch via the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), confirming that its high-speed, low-latency internet service can now be accessed across Kosovo.

Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, welcomed the development, describing it as a crucial step in advancing the nation’s digital capabilities. “This service opens numerous opportunities for internet access across every corner of the Republic of Kosovo,” Kurti emphasized in his statement.

Highlighting the potential of Starlink, Kurti pointed out its proven effectiveness in providing critical communication during natural disasters and other national emergencies.

The service is expected to bridge the digital divide in rural and underserved areas, bringing reliable internet to locations previously beyond the reach of traditional infrastructure.
