China has expressed deep concern over recent statements by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the relocation of Palestinians from Gaza and the idea of U.S. control over the territory.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry emphasized its opposition to any forced displacement of Palestinians and reaffirmed its support for their right to self-governance in Palestine.

🔹 “China supports a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian issue based on a two-state solution. We urge all parties to take this opportunity for a ceasefire and post-conflict management to return the issue to the path of political resolution,” the statement read.

Trump’s Controversial Proposal

During a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump suggested that the U.S. could take control of Gaza once Palestinians relocate to neighboring countries. He also proposed transforming Gaza into a developed region where “people from all over the world” could settle.

The remarks sparked global outrage, with critics warning of potential ethnic cleansing and violations of international law.
