The European Union Election Observation Mission (EOM) will present its preliminary statement today regarding Kosovo’s parliamentary elections held on Sunday. The statement will be delivered by Nathalie Loiseau, head of the EU Election Observation Mission and a Member of the European Parliament.
EU Monitoring Efforts
The EU Election Observation Mission deployed over 100 observers across Kosovo to assess the election process. The mission was sent following a decision by European Commission High Representative Kaja Kallas, aiming to ensure a credible, transparent, and inclusive electoral process.
The EU’s presence in Kosovo seeks to strengthen democracy and guarantee that voters can freely express their choices in a fair election environment.
