Former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton has strongly criticized President Donald Trump following his heated meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House.
Bolton condemned Trump’s stance on Ukraine, calling it a shameful move that undermines Western unity.
“Trump has put the U.S. on the wrong side of the Russia-Ukraine war, and it is disgraceful. He is making it increasingly difficult to reunite the West. After his term, the U.S. will have to convince our allies that we are still a reliable partner and a nation of rational people,” Bolton stated.
His remarks add to the growing backlash from European leaders who have reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
