In an important announcement for citizens of Kosovo living in Germany, Kosovo’s Ambassador to this country, Faruk Ajeti, informed that the process of registering Kosovar nationals as Serbian citizens in Germany, which had lasted for over 17 years, has come to an end.
“I am pleased to inform you that, as a result of our political work and commitment, this long-standing and unresolved issue will be resolved. From now on, Kosovar citizens in Germany will no longer be registered as Serbian citizens,” said Faruk Ajeti, Kosovo’s Ambassador to Germany. This step marks an important achievement for Kosovar citizens in Germany, ensuring fair treatment and full recognition of Kosovo’s nationality. The Kosovo Embassy has thanked citizens for their patience and ongoing support throughout this process.
