French President Emmanuel Macron has called on Russia to accept a proposed 30-day ceasefire agreement, emphasizing the urgent need to end hostilities in Ukraine.
Macron stated that he had discussed the proposal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
“Russia’s aggression in Ukraine must end. The abuses must stop,” Macron declared.
The French president also reiterated that France would strengthen its support for Ukraine and continue working toward a lasting peace.
